Trade mission India
In the last decade, significant structural reforms helped India to become one of the world's fastest growing emerging economies. Economic liberalisation and rising incomes also stimulated rapid trade growth with European countries and significantly increased trade relations between Luxembourg and India. India is a big, diverse economy with a current growth outlook that overshadows most Asian markets. While the pace of growth in the medium to longer term will depend largely on the speed and extent of ongoing reform, at a time when almost all other Asian economies are anticipating contraction or slow growth, the Indian market cannot be ignored. Several fast growing sectors and states provide increasing opportunities for Luxembourg companies to build on that success. The Minister of the Economy and Foreign Trade is leading a trade mission to India from 8th-14th January 2010. The mission will start in New Delhi and continue to Kolkata and Mumbai from 12-13th January. At these three destinations, the Minister will take the opportunity to address a high level audience from the business community. The Luxembourg delegation will also have the opportunity to either participate at or visit the Indian automotive fair Auto Expo 2010 which runs during the same period. In case participants are interested, the mission could further be extended to Pune on 14th January. To participate at Auto Expo 2010 go to Auto Expo2010.
