Luxembourg Food Industry Being Presented to the World at SIAL 2012
SIAL 2012 takes place from 21 – 25 October in Paris, one of the world’s top gastronomic capitals.
Dubbed “The Global Food Marketplace”, this substantial biennial event involves 19 sectors and attracts over 130,000 food industry professionals – including buyers IALsearching for new food products and new suppliers. From 200 countries world-wide visiting almost 6,000 exhibition stands will represent both retail and trade, food industries and food service, as well as wines from around the globe.
The SIAL network also organises similar events in both North and South America, as well as in the Middle East and China.
Luxembourg will be represented at SIAL 2012 in Paris with 4 individual pavilions organised by the Ministry of the Economy and Foreign Trade. On display during this year’s edition of SIAL in Paris will be dairy produce from Luxlait who also offer own-label product services, deep-frozen bakery products from Panelux, frozen foods in the form of ready meals from Tavola/Comigel, pistachio and other nuts from Ireco as well as chocolates from Genaveh.
